MORE ABOUT

Welcome! I'm truly so glad that you're here.

While my work can be categorized within fashion and lifestyle, the core of what I do is about with cultivating authentic relationships, based on integrity, respect and openness.

Sometimes this is the relationship you and I develop while working together and yet often, it is the relationship you re-establish with yourself upon defining what feels best when you wear it.

I believe in living life with intention. And I feel so grateful that one of the ways I get to live out that core belief, is by helping women elevate their everyday style experience.

It gives me untold joy when my clients experience what it feels like when their wardrobe finally feels like home.

I’m Alayne — a Calgary-based personal stylist who believes that style is about far more than what you wear.

At its best, style is deeply personal. It’s how you move through the world. How you see yourself. And how you choose to show up — day after day, moment by moment.

The foundation of my work is connection. I take the time to truly get to know each client — who they are, how they live, what they love, and what no longer feels like them. I believe you can’t create an authentic wardrobe without understanding the person inside it. That depth of knowing is what allows me to guide clients in a way that feels honest, intuitive, and deeply personal.

Sometimes it’s the relationship you and I build while working together. But often, it’s the relationship you begin to rebuild with yourself — learning what feels right, what feels aligned, and what finally feels like you.

I approach styling with thoughtful intention. You deserve a wardrobe that reflects your personality, values, and real life — not someone else’s rules or expectations. When your clothes feel aligned, getting dressed becomes simpler, more intuitive, and surprisingly grounding.

My approach is personal, down-to-earth, and highly intentional. Together, we create a wardrobe that feels like home — authentically you — where your biggest problem isn’t what to wear, but choosing between pieces you genuinely love.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

I didn’t come into this work simply because I loved clothes — I came into it because I loved what clothes could do for a person. How the right outfit can shift how someone carries themselves. How being truly seen can change the way a person moves through the world.

That understanding took shape while working at a local boutique known for its highly personal, elevated shopping experience. It wasn’t transactional or trend-driven — it was relational. We listened closely. We noticed patterns. We learned how to hear what a client was saying and what they weren’t. That environment shaped how I work to this day.

Then life shifted in a way I didn’t expect.

After the birth of my second son, I experienced postpartum depression and a profound loss of identity. I felt disconnected from myself — from the person I recognized and trusted. In the midst of that fog, I realized something important: while many things felt out of my control, I still had the ability to choose how I showed up for myself.

So I started small. Getting dressed with intention. Styling my hair. Putting on makeup — not to impress anyone, but to reconnect with myself. These weren’t acts of vanity. They were acts of reclamation. And over time, those small, intentional choices helped me feel more grounded, more present, and more like myself again.

That experience became a turning point.

I went on to build my first business — a jewelry boutique that combined online retail, pop-ups, and in-person styling appointments. The work expanded into styling for magazine shoots, brand photography, weddings, and events, deepening my understanding of how intentional styling influences not just how someone looks, but how they show up in meaningful moments of their life.

Eventually, personal styling became the clear focus. Within a year, I chose to sell the jewelry business so I could dedicate myself fully to working with women one-on-one — guiding them toward wardrobes that feel aligned, intentional, and reflective of who they truly are.

What I learned then — and what I continue to witness with my clients every day — is this: when you start to see yourself differently, something shifts internally. You feel more at ease in your body. More connected to who you are. More willing to take up space as yourself.

That sense of alignment creates momentum — not because you’re trying to become someone new, but because you’re finally allowing yourself to be fully seen.

That’s the work I care about.
And it’s why I do what I do.
