MORE ABOUT
Welcome! I'm truly so glad that you're here.
While my work can be categorized within fashion and lifestyle, the core of what I do is about with cultivating authentic relationships, based on integrity, respect and openness.
Sometimes this is the relationship you and I develop while working together and yet often, it is the relationship you re-establish with yourself upon defining what feels best when you wear it.
I believe in living life with intention. And I feel so grateful that one of the ways I get to live out that core belief, is by helping women elevate their everyday style experience.
It gives me untold joy when my clients experience what it feels like when their wardrobe finally feels like home.

MORE ABOUT
I'm Alayne, a personal stylist based in Calgary, Alberta. With a love for fashion and a knack for helping others discover their unique style, I'm dedicated to empowering my clients to look and feel their best.
But it’s about more than just clothes.
At the heart of what I do is building genuine relationships based on trust, respect, and open communication.
Sometimes it’s the relationship you and I develop while working together… but even better, it’s often the relationship that you re-establish with yourself when you define what feels best when you wear it.
I believe in styling with thoughtful intention, and that means you deserve to have a wardrobe that reflects your personality & values, which in turn leaves you feeling authentic and confident. I love seeing the joy you feel when you finally have a wardrobe that feels like you.
My approach is personalized and down-to-earth. Together, we'll create a wardrobe that "feels like home" (in other words, it's authentically you and your biggest problem is not knowing what to wear because you love it all).

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
My love for fashion was deeply rooted and started at an early age, but the concept behind personal style really took off when I started working at an incredible local boutique. It was more than just retail; we offered clients a personalized and high-end shopping experience. I learned so much about honing in on a client's needs and providing exceptional service in a relational and personal way.
Then life changed.
After the birth of my second son, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. I felt a loss of identity and struggled with the fog of unrelenting sadness. But then I remembered that my worth, identity, and happiness were in my own hands.
One day, looking in the mirror, I decided to reclaim my identity. I started with small steps: picking outfits intentionally, styling my hair, and putting on a little makeup.
These weren't acts of vanity — they were acts of self-discovery and reclamation. By putting in a little effort, I was intentionally taking steps towards the woman I knew I wanted to be.
With each day, I felt my inner glow return.
From there I started my first business, a jewelry boutique with a hybrid operation of online, pop-ups, and in-person shopping & styling appointments. This business opened up opportunities to take the styling lead for magazines and business photo shoots, as well working with clients for styling their weddings and events.
While in the midst of running the jewelry business, I started the Personal Styling business. After just one year, the new business was in full force, leading me to sell the jewelry business to allow my full focus to be centered on Personal Styling.
Through all of this, I have learned that when you start to see yourself looking better, you start to feel better, and then you start to think better. It's a ripple effect that I felt then, I continue to feel it now, and it's one that I see with my clients every single day. It's why I do what I do.
